Short visit to gallery on Tues;20 July. Praise to young lady on reception greeting visitors, with pleasant smile,making a
good first impression. The guy on duty first floor seemed helpful to another visitor I noted. This is the sort of standard
needed in uk to bring in line with some other countries (lots of French visiting when I was there). Too short on time to
view upper floors so will do at a later date. The gallery is a real asset to district.

this captures it pretty well – I visited yesterday for the first day and was really impressed. The collection has some fabulous pieces and the staff were really helpful and informed, especially about the Epstein complicated family set-up. I was really taken with what Bob and Roberta Smith is doing with the archive – it managed to be funny and make serious points. keep up the good work.

l think the Area needs to be sorted out before we have a Featival in Caldmore Area .

The state of public Footpaths , Roads , Fly tipping it is the Worst in West Midlands and in Walsall .
Vehicles always park on Public Footpaths in Caldmore . lam y Resident and have to always use the Road to walk on beacuse vehicles are parking on footpath.
What l People going to think of Caldmore Area , it is Not save to have a Festival In Caldmore , just look at footpaths and Roads and Parking , Litter Rubbish .Don’t wnat my Family Giong here and there children comeing to Caldmore to Embrassed to ask them .
the area should have been sorted Out First , before Festival was Decided .
in Fact we had a Festival about 13 Years back told they was Going to improve area After Festival Nothing Happened , we are now hearing the Same , Just Talk .
seem that people who are Organisong this are just making monies , and No Imrpovmente will be done in Caldmore , just watch and see , we have heard and seen it all before .

Robert and Roberta , clever people doing clever things and yet……
Through Epstein’s papers with hands like wax, you have moved and dug, and left your tracks, interpret Jacob as mean and weak, use him to garner what you seek.
Theo, colours of madness on the wall, bright peacock of life, artistic blindness can’t hurt him at all, as these clerics of art, with paint-box scrawl, offer the public wood, tin and string, spiritless object, a meaningless thing.
This is a expo of mundane and crass, brushes on rope and other such trash, guess it don’t matter if you’re taking the cash, from Arts Council funds, but you left this observer, out in the park, coz this is not art, you’re larking about, and in the sunlight, what I see, is an empty canvas, which in its virgin state, has the things this residency lacks, an understanding of grief, madness and joy…………
