Throughout The Cover of a Book is the Beginning of a Journey we’ll be asking you to help us activate some of the artworks contained in the books on display.
Have you got a special song that you would like to dedicate to a loved one? Tell us the title, artist, name of the person you are dedicating it to and why, and we’ll do our best to play them during our Artists’ Books Fair on Saturday 27th November.

This activity is based on Paul Rooney’s book Dedication which can be found in the exhibition.
My song would be ‘Songbird’ by Oasis.
I would like it dedicated to my husband-to-be, Simon Corden, for being the love of my life and the most supportive, generous and loving person I could imagine and to let him know that I feel so fortunate to have him by my side through the ups and downs of life – he makes everything possible and my dreams come true every day!

I’d like to dedicate ‘Let’s Hang On’ by Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons to my amazing boyfriend Ste, who has made everyday, for the past 5 years, the happiest I’ve ever had! The song means alot to the both of us. I Love him with all my heart.
