The New Gallery Walsall invites you to The Game of Art a very special day of adventure and conversation

Artist collective Coney and artificial intelligence consultancy Winterwell are joining forces to create an adventure in The New Gallery Walsall about conceptual art, forgery and the moment ideas become art.

They would like to invite you to go on a little adventure with them, made especially for you and exploring adventure as a way to engage audiences with art. Your expert input will help shape this new piece where the general public become art thieves and forgers planning and staging a daring heist.

The Game of Art will take place on

Coney is an artist collective renowned for its adventures that catch the public’s imagination. They make exciting stories through play, where the audience is catapulted into the leading role. These adventures can happen any time, any place. They use digital technologies alongside non-digital knowhow to play with really diverse audiences wherever they are.

Winterwell is an Artificial Intelligence consultancy that uses new technology to create innovative interactive works that play out across digital media and live events.

This project is part of the Art of Ideas III programme funded by Arts Council England and delivered by Arts and Business West Midlands.
